After South African President Ramaphosa referred the Bill back to Parliament on the basis of a number of Constitutional reservations, this presentation will provide a high-level overview of Parliament’s further deliberations on the Bill, and also provide some insights on how licensing and commercial dealings with respect to copyright works would be impacted upon if the Bill were to be enacted, as presently worded, or without substantial amendments.
